What We Do Collect

  • API usage data: For API endpoints, we track request counts for rate limiting (no content stored)
  • Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP addresses, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting
  • File metadata: For file conversion tools, we temporarily store file metadata (size, type) during processing

Local Processing

Most of our tools process data entirely in your browser. This means:

  • Your data never leaves your device
  • No server-side processing for most tools
  • Complete privacy and security

Tools Requiring Server Processing

Some tools require server-side processing. We handle your data with strict security and privacy measures:

PDF Conversion Tools

  • Files are temporarily stored in secure MinIO object storage during conversion
  • Files are automatically deleted after processing (within 1 hour)
  • No permanent storage or retention of your files
  • No logging of file contents or metadata beyond processing requirements
  • Files are processed in isolated environments
  • Secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all file transfers

These same guarantees apply to sensitive or financial documents (e.g. 10-Ks, internal reports)—we do not retain or use them for any purpose beyond delivering your conversion.

VPN Service

For our free WireGuard VPN servers:

  • We do not log your browsing history, traffic content, or DNS queries
  • We do not monitor or record your online activities
  • We maintain minimal connection logs (connection time, duration) for service improvement only
  • We do not sell or share VPN usage data with third parties
  • We use industry-standard WireGuard encryption protocol

API Endpoints

For programmatic API access:

  • API keys are required for authentication (stored securely)
  • Rate limiting tracks request counts (no content stored)
  • Request/response data is not logged or stored
  • API usage statistics are aggregated and anonymous

Analytics and Tracking

We use analytics services to understand how our website is used and improve our tools. All analytics data is anonymous and aggregated.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track website usage patterns. This service collects:

  • Page views and navigation patterns
  • Device and browser information
  • Geographic location (country/city level, not precise)
  • Referral sources

This data is:

  • Anonymous and aggregated
